The pipes made in this period have no identifying nomenclature Before the introduction of the Becker nomenclature, our pipes were sold in Rome's oldest prestigious pipe shop (Carmignani). These pipes were stamped:

"Carmignani-Hand Made"

This nomenclature was stamped with a pantograph:
